One of the biggest struggles with doing your make top is making sure you can get the right lighting so that you don’t end up an unflattering shade of orange or to have an unblended line of foundation. Another issue I sometimes have is needing a magnified mirror to create the best look when it comes to my eyes and eyebrows, so you can imagine how pleased I was to be sent a Vanity Magnification Mirror with LED Lights, Touch Screen and 3 different magnified screens from Spence And I.
Spence and I was launched in 2-17 when friends Ruth and Olly realised they couldn’t find good mirrors to decorate their new home and they have an amazing charity stance. Buy 1 Give 1 is at the core of their business and one of the main factors for starting their shop, giving them the chance to be a part of Patchwork Kids Charity and help a school in a small village in India. With every purchase made on their site, Ruth and Olly purchase an item to help students of Reni Pani School in Satpura, and have so far been able to support 50 children with the number hoping to grow soon.
They sell a gorgeous selection of mirrors including dressing table mirrors, travel mirrors, full length standing mirrors and LED mirrors, ranging from £19.99 to £249.99. The mirror I received had 21 LED Lights with a brightness adjustment option through the touch screen, and has 4 mirrors in total, two of which have magnification levels. The mirror has a 180 degree free rotation level so whether you are sat at a desk overlooking your mirror or if like me you are sat on the floor of your bedroom with the mirror rested on the side of the bed, it is fully adjustable to suit the way you need to use it.
The two time magnification is perfect for applying bronzer and blusher with a slightly increased zoom on your face, and the three time magnification is perfect for mascara if you are not too confident and eyebrows if like me you are pedantic about how they look. You can also use the magnification for tweezing and putting in your contact lenses, but I really love how all the mirrors are together so you don’t have to swap between different mirrors during your make up process and it saves you a lot of time if you have had to do this before. I can’t say how many times I’ve been sat with a selection of mirrors with different strength magnification around me and one decides to go walkabout or I’m learnt on it so I have a panic as to where it is.
