Welcome to my new blog, Glam Glitz Gloss, written by a 24-year-old with a serious shopping addition from London. If you hadn’t guessed from the title, I’m obsessed with all things glitter. I could basically rival a magpie on the distracted by something shiny scale! I love lip gloss and will always choose it over lipstick, the shinier the better of course.

And whilst I may not scream out glamour at first sight, in my head it’s a world of difference. I’m forever daydreaming of the time when I’ll be living a glamorous lifestyle somewhere hot and sunny… With a walk-in wardrobe of course, because hello what shopaholic doesn’t want one! For now, though I shall continue to live my champagne lifestyle on lemonade money.

A NEW START FOR THIS BLOGGER

You may remember me from my previous blog Secrets from Behind the Mask, which is sadly no longer with us. Not by choice I must add but by the actions of GoDaddy and the simple plan of buying my url. Following my purchase, they managed to mess up my access and subsequently deleted my blog from existence. An American tech genius from Google rang me a number of times but even he couldn’t fix it. And thus, the blog and all my previous posts disappeared into the ether!

I contemplated whether or not to start a new blog or to just give up blogging altogether. But I had found a love for writing and a new community of like-minded friends. It felt wrong to walk away from it all and I had a supportive network around me. And so, came the birth of Glam Glitz Gloss! A website that will cover a number of topics because I like the idea of being free in my posting choices.

My posts will include, but not be limited to, “The Glam” where I’ll discuss anything that I find glamorous and exciting. Like Fashion and Makeup Hauls and events I have attended like London Fashion Weekend. “The Glitz” which of course will cover anything with even a semblance of glitter related to it. And finally, “The Gloss” which speak for itself really, gloss wins over lipstick every time for me!

THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS

As well as these main areas I will keep you guessing on what post will come next. It could be a review of the latest book I’m reading on my Kindle. My favourite genres include Young Adult Fiction, Police Novels and True Crime stories. It could be about a staycation in the UK, or a holiday I’ve taken overseas. I’ll tell you what is very likely to pop us is a food post.

Food will definitely appear here and there as let me tell you this girl can eat! And who doesn’t want to look at pretty plates of food and find out what someone rates or doesn’t. I’d love to say that I will be posting about healthy food and recipes I’ve made but it’s not likely. I’m basically the biggest novice in the kitchen you could find, and I have a terrible diet. So, it’s more likely I’ll be falling into the restaurant reviews and dessert lusting category of food posts.
