A couple of weeks ago I attended Pro Beauty at ExCel London, which was actually a bit disappointing compared to previous years. A lot of brands I would make a point of seeing in previous years weren’t there and there seemed to be an overload of nails and salon machines. Whilst I left earlier than I usually would I didn’t come away completely empty handed and picked up a couple of bargains including two sets of Spectrum Brushes.
The Spectrum Brush stand was absolutely swarming with people but with half price offers on most of their brush sets can you blame them. I hadn’t previously tried the Spectrum Brushes but I have always lusted over the range, especially with the beautiful colours they come in.
When I saw the The 12 Piece Bomb Shell Brush Set for £35 instead of £70 I just had to have it. Coming in the cutest shades of blush, rose gold and hot pink, they are the ultimate girly set of brushes, and as a lover of pink and bargains how could I say no. The brush heads are full size but the handles are slightly shorter than most brushes I own, which is actually perfect because it means they fit into my make up bag a lot easier.

I also picked up the Must Have Minis Fresh F.A.C.E for £10 instead of £25, this set consists of 4 brushes and a make up bag which I thought would be perfect for weekends away or overnight stays at friends where I don’t need to take my full make up bag. Does anyone else like to have multiple options for brushes… Even if it’s just so you don’t have to clean your brushes as often.
The Spectrum Brushes are broken into three categories hence the names of all the brushes is a letter and a number, A is for Application, B is for Blending and C is for Contouring. Do you own any of the Spectrum Brushes or do you have any on your wishlist right now?
