Fashions Finest SS18 LFW: Show Two

On Monday I wrote about the first of two shows I attended at London Fashion Week with Fashions Finest and although I didn’t enjoy most of the experience I do love seeing the upcoming collections from different designers so here’s the photos from the second show of the day.

The designers that were showcased in the second show were Helen Howe, Koyawo, Ocansey Bianchi London and JADAU by Kanwal Toor. Unfortunately during the final designer’s show my camera announced that it had no more memory and I had to quickly delete some old photos to try and get some pictures before it ended. Although I ended up missing some nudity so I guess that’s not the worst moment for it to happen.

My favourite designer of the day was from the second show and that was Helen Howe. I am not usually a big coat fan but I loved the array that came out on the models, especially the mid length coat dress as I’m loving burgundy shades at the moment. A lot of designers go out of their way to put on eccentric shows and I loved that she had some beautiful pieces that I could actually see myself wearing.

One thing I do love about attending events is when I get the chance to meet fellow bloggers and at the fashion show I got to meet Katie who I’ve followed on Twitter for a while. We were squished together on the platform, survived the aggressive and rude staff and self righteous photographers and grabbed lunch in between the two shows.

Loved the dress in the 5th photo, that was really quite pretty. But what I got most from this…the models didn’t seem excited or engaged at all….they looked like sourpusses, hey…if they’re not excited about the clothes they are promoting, why should anyone waste their cash on them? Models are supposed to promote, not just wear the fashions.

I completely agree with the wearable fashion, I was thinking as I was scrolling through that those were my favourite, and I liked the burgundy too. You got some great pictures!

I love fashion shows and never get to experience yet watching it personally. I wish I could have this tick off on my bucket list. I love the coat series! Lesson learned, make sure to have a big memory for the photos.

I don’t have big fashion sense but from this presentation, I only like the coats part. The other outfits seem really strange. I mean.. what’s with the shoes and who on Earth will ever wear anything like that on the street? The coats are really nice though, most of them.

  7. I LOVE that cape coat – burgundy is always a win in Autumn 🙂 x

  8. Some of the designs are just gorgeous!!
