I had 5 days off from Christmas Day and got to spent some real quality time with my friends and family, and I was lucky enough to be treated to some fabulous presents. I am so grateful for the people in my life and loved all the presents I got.
I was lucky enough to get my first Christmas present a few days prior to Christmas. It was the Coque D’Or Glitter Spray from Guerlain that my best friend George bought me, which I had chosen a month before and then had to put my patience skills to the test waiting for it. He was a complete boy about it, telling me that it was a waste of money and you could buy glitter spray in Poundland for cheaper but being the good little pudding that he is he bought this for me anyway.
I finished work on Christmas Eve at 5 and popped to the local pub with some of my lovely Cosmetics team for a couple of drinks before getting picked up and dropped to one of my favourite people’s house… Charli! Yes we spent Christmas Eve evening together and actually woke up on Christmas Day to each other’s faces. Before leaving the pub my manager gave me a lovely card, a bottle of wine and some chocolate, he knows me so well!
We spent our evening eating scallops, drinking Prosecco and then made our way for bed so we could be up early for Santa’s arrival. WE’RE GOING TO SEE S CLUB 7! I got a lovely necklace, a perfume gift set and some chocolate from Santa himself, but she got us S Club 7 tickets, I can’t even explain my excitement over this and how rubbish my presents for her seemed after finding that out.
At midday I made my way to my Nans where my Dad and I had Christmas dinner and we all exchanged our gifts, we spoilt my Nan this year as she’s not been well recently and it’s probably the last time she’d host Christmas dinner. My Dad was most excited for me to open a £50 beach towel he had bought me because as he stated “It’s your two favourite things, £50 notes and holidays” Now you know you’ve all got a £50 note smile, don’t deny it :p
He always get a present that is for me and Charli to share and this year he was on point for the blogging world, as he got us hair chalk. There are three layers, all with different shades, and I’m sure this beauty will be coming on holiday with us this year. I also got Bluetooth speakers for my phone, heel shaped phone stand, Viva La Juicy gift set and money from everyone on my Dad’s side of the family.
After a lazy Boxing Day which basically consisted of staying in bed all day, watching films, shopping in the sales and eating pancakes, I met my Mum in London on the Saturday as we had tickets for the ballet. Along with my stepdad and younger sister we went to see The Nutcracker Ballet at the National Opera House and then went out for Chinese at a lovely restaurant near home.
Mum got me the most beautiful handbag and matching purse from Guess so as soon as the weather improves and I’m not scared to take it outside in the rain my Michael Kors will be taking a back step for this beauty to take centre stage. I also got a new clutch bag from my Stepdad’s parents, as you can tell I’m loving nude accessories right now. Mum also got me some new pyjamas, leggings, money and I got a glass nail file off my aunt.
On my final day off I spent the evening with two of my friends, Sam and Alicia, for present swapping, sweets and a sing-a-long sesh of Mamma Mia. Sam got me a Nail Growth set as I’ve managed to not bite my nails for a month now which has never happened before, and a Versace perfume set, and Alicia got me the Soap & Glory Perfect Ten eyeshadow palette. I also got some lovely underwear from Amy once she returned to me from Cape Town, she is always on point at finding me nice sets.
