Recently MUA Cosmetics hit a followers milestone on their Facebook page and as a thank you to their fans they ran a special offer; 50% off all orders over £30, which for a lover like me who owns most of the line already was amazing.
As expected with an offer like this the website crashed soon after it went live and with an excessive amount of orders it took MUA longer than usual to deal with all the order queries and the orders themselves which led to the usual Facebook drama where everyone and their dog complains. Why? You are getting 50% off a great website, that are already at bargain prices as it is, and they tried their hardest to deal with everyone and keep a calm and professional demeanour during it all.
I waited a few days for the excitement on the site to die down, and although they said the offer would only be on for 3 days originally, I knew that with the problems they had they would end up extending the offer dates. I ordered 9 items, popped in my 50% code and when I went to pay I had money in my Paypal account that I had completely forgotten about so I only ended up having to pay about £5 for the lot 🙂 Happy Days!
I was really interested in purchasing the Fixing Mist but as I already have a small W7 one that I haven’t finished I held off on buying it, but when it went half price and with it being one of the more expensive MUA items at £5 Don’t you just love that you can say £5 is an expensive items with MUA 🙂 I added two to the basket, it was basically a 2 for 1 so why not.
Of course I had to get some gloss in the order, not that I need any more as I have an overwhelming stash already, but I’m loving coral and peach shades right now so I was planning on getting Happy Days anyway, and at only £1 I decided why not add in a pink shade too.
I have always preferred Gel Liners to Pencils, and I’ve always been happy with my 17 Glitter Liners that I have never really bothered branching out and trying different brands. I have always been happy with the quality of the MUA products, especially at such a bargain price, so at just £3 and on offer I decided to add this to my cart to give it a try.
I have never used a Primer before but I have noticed that it seems to be a key fixture in many people’s make up bags so I thought that, if I was going to try it out that I might as well stick with a brand that I know and love, and at just £4 it’s one again a bargain buy from MUA.
During the winter months I have a terrible problem with dry lips so I love any lip products that have a hydrating formula within them, and whilst browsing the sight I read that the Kiss Proof Lip Stains, £3, have this so I added the Kissalicious colour to my basket.
I don’t use blusher very often but I’m always interested in expanding my make up knowledge and I loved the look of the Shimmer Kisses Blusher and Bronzer when they were originally released. I am so pale that bronzers are rather irrelevant for me unless I have a spray tan so I decided to just buy the blusher, £3.
My favourite ever MUA product is The Immaculate Collection Palette, and I have about 5 other palettes from their line but there is always room for more in my opinion, and I have wanted to purchase The Artiste Palette, £6, since it was released. Sadly it was never in stock in my local Superdrugs and I didn’t want to make an order for just one palette, so the second I saw the offer was happening this was the first item in my basket.
