The Gloss: Elegant Touch False Nails & Models Own Beetlejuice

Before I go on I must admit something… I am a nail biter, but a nail polish addict.
I have an extremely large nail polish collection, which just doesn’t seem right for someone who has their names bitten down as far as physically possible. I have tried many times to stop but it just never works so I now get false nails put on if I have the money or I break into my stash of store bought ones and just paint them whichever colour goes with my outfit choice.

I went away for an adult weekend at Butlins, hence the paperwork I have my hand laid out on, and excuse the shoddy photography but it was the work of a drunk woman and a Blackberry… Yes I was the woman 🙂 And on the Saturday night they had a fancy dress theme and I was dressed in the Ann Summers ‘Agent Frisk’ costume so I needed blue nails. I chose to use my Elegant Touch Garnet UV Gel Nails, which come with adhesive tabs rather than glue which I definitely prefer, and used a polish from the Models Own Beetlejuice range, Aqua Violet.
I lost about three nails not very long after applying them but I think that was more to do with the fact that I was impatient about getting back to my drink than making sure I had held them down long enough, but the rest were stuck solid and when I took them off it was a bit of a fight. I used two coats of the polish and I love how it catchs the light so much and looks a lighter shade in the light too, I know I’m in love with a polish if I play around with how it looks in the light. What can I say, I’m easily pleased!
