The Glitter: Debenhams Haul & Wishlist

Debenhams are currently in the midst of a Blue Cross Sale, and as I work there I always have a wishlist of goodies I want to buy so when they go in the sale I get super excited and just have to get them, whether I pick them up in store or order them online. This time round I didn’t have a lot of items on my wishlist as I spent a lot of money in the Christmas Mega Week, you can’t spend hundreds in your own store where you get staff discount and not treat yourself to at least one or two things… Or about 5 or 6 in my case, oops ūüôā But I still managed to find myself some bargain buys during Blue Cross.

My favourite ever pair of jeans finally gave up on me and ripped and I realised that I don’t have any other blue jeans, just a selection of coloured and patterned pairs so when I found these Red Herring Dark Blue Studded Skinny Jeans¬†for the amazingly low price of ¬£10.50, originally ¬£35, there was no question about whether I was getting them. As a self confessed shoe-holic I¬†had to have at least one pair of heels in my order, and so I went for the Call It Spring Bright Pink ‘Rinalli’ Platform Sandals which were ¬£15 down from ¬£50, and I was surprised to realise that I don’t own any other pink shoes right now. There is always room for new underwear, and I’ve never bought from the Ultimo range before but I love leopard print and I love the words half price so when I saw the Multi Coloured ‘Animal Satin’ Plunge Set I had to have it, it was down to ¬£20.25 from ¬£40.50.

As you can tell from my blog name I absolutely love anything glittery, shiny and sparkly and I have been wanting this Lipsy Light Pink Beaded Evening Top for about a year, and I’m not even exaggerating, but I couldn’t justify spending ¬£40 on one single top and I was hoping that it would go down in the sale and my waiting paid off because it went down by half price and then it went down even further to just ¬£12, I was ecstatic and the second it arrived I was posing in front of the mirror just staring at it. Easily pleased!

I have gone spending crazy lately so I couldn’t buy everything I wanted in one go so a few items had to wait and stay on the wishlist, and those bits are Iron Fist shoes which I’m still not 100% sure I actually want them because in the picture the stitching of the skulls doesn’t look great but I’ll see how I feel on pay day and I could find another pair that I want more between now and then anyway.
I’m not the biggest make up girl ever, mainly because¬†I don’t know what to do with most of it, I was never taught how to apply it and I’m not confident in teaching myself, but I love the look of the¬†Givenchy Prisme Libre Air Sensation Loose Powder, the colours are lush and it has had really good reviews with people saying it gives your skin a satin effect, stays on all day, gives a lovely glow to your skin and how cute is that packaging. Definitely waiting for that one to go down in the sale though, ¬£33.50 is a lot of money for a powder.
