The Girl: Primark Haul & OOTD

I haven’t been in Primark in ages but I had seen a number of people mention that they had been in their local one recently and found a lot of great buys, so I thought I would have a check for myself too. I was in there for ages and I could have spent so much but I managed to control myself and went a reasonable splurge of £60.

They have so many great new tops in for the Summer… I know, I know, keep dreaming ay but the sun has to come back at some point right, RIGHT?! They have a large range of patterns and prints, and cost between £4 and £6 so if you are off on holiday and wanted a new outfit for a reduced price then Primark is definitely the place to look, you can get so much more for your money there.

As we’ve been rather lacking of heat lately I haven’t yet worn the flag print top but I have worn the other three and just paired them with cute cardigans and jackets. Why should I miss out on wearing my new purchases because the sun has decided to play a extra long game of hide and seek.

I LOVE COLOURED JEANS! I absolutely love that all the shops have jumped on this trend lately because I have a serious love for coloured jeans, and these were only £11 each in the sale. They have now been added to my collection that includes neon pink, bright blue and leopard print jeans.

Another love of mine is Skater Dresses, I like the way they sit and total girl moment… I love spinning round in them and seeing it twirl. Until recently I only had one but in the past month I have added three more to the collection, including this one. My Mum bought me a navy, shorter one from New Look and I bought myself a black and white spotted one from Debenhams.

OMG! These boots were such a bargain, there was no way I was leaving the shop without them. The original price for them was £18, but in the sale they had dropped down the amazing price of just £3. Yes you read that right, just £3.

I don’t understand the problem people seem to have with Primark underwear, I think it’s great. These all cost between £1 and £1.50 and they are both comfy and are made well, much better than you would expect for that price. They do such colourful and fun pieces, and I bought a bra too for only £6 but I was actually wearing it when I took the pictures.

This purchase was made a few weeks ago and I have worn most of the pieces since buying them but I think the leopard top and red jeans are my favourite combination from them so far. I wore this to London Fashion Weekend with my Michael Lewis heels, and I’m actually wearing it again right now.
If you haven’t been to Primark recently I would definitely urge you to pop in, there are so many bargain pieces to snap up, and everything is so bright and colourful, maybe if we all buy something super colourful the sun will come out to see us in them… Off to my sunshine dreamworld again.
