My Blogging Resolutions

Instead of making a list of resolutions for everyday life, which are normally broken by February anyway, this year I thought I’d see if I have more luck making a list of blogging resolutions.

1. Sticking to my posting days
I will be posting on Thursday and Sunday at 6pm
2. Have a blog makeover
I will be pulling the best friend card on Charli and getting her to put her HTML skills to good use
3. Network and comment more
I’m so grateful for all the blogging friends I’ve made over the years and I’m always happy to add more to that lovely bunch
4. Improve my photos
I’ve treated myself to a new camera, a Canon 700D, and once I’ve learnt how to use it I’m hoping to have some fabulous pictures on here and maybe I’ve even branch out to outfit posts with a tripod
5. Learn about and create a media kit
I always hear about media kits and it all goes right over my head so I’m going to make a point of looking into it
6. Master my fear of vlogging
I would actually love to video blog but I usually use the excuse that I don’t have a good background to shoot against and the initial fear of vlogging so I’d like to try and fight that
And one for all of us… 7. Don’t compare yourself to other bloggers
It’s my blog and I might not have the biggest following but I am thankful for every individual that takes the time to read my posts and I will not compare myself to anyone else
