As you’ll know from previous posts I attended the London Fashion Weekend Designer Show, which was presented by Zoe Hardman who you may recognise from Take Me Out: The Gossip, which she co-hosts with Mark Wright on ITV2.
The collection we got to view was Louise Gray, a designer born in Fraserburgh, Scotland, who loves to use brightly hued, boldly textured garments using a wide range of materials. She is the queen of contrast and aims for a modern folk look with her range. You can see from her own outfit choice that she likes to mix bold colours, and prints… And have you noticed her earrings, they are little smiley faces.
Louise understands that not a lot of people would be comfortable wearing an entire outfit using all her designs but the great thing is that you can take one piece from the range and put your own spin on it. I love watching catwalk shows and I’m always intrigued by the crazy, out of the box designers even though I know I’d never have the bulls to wear any of their line, and I just love the buzz and excitement of watching a catwalk.
