I recently received a lovely parcel from the team at Glo Minerals filled with a few products from their line. I was very excited to try them out as I had seen some reviews from other bloggers and they came across very well, and now was the chance to see for myself.
The packaging does not jump out at you but I quite like that is simple. It tells you the brand name and what the product is, what more do you need. You can tell that they are glo-minerals products, whereas a lot of brands these days use similar colouring or packaging and I have been known to mix up a brand here and there.
Inside the product are four blocks of colour, and on the back it tells you what each colour is for. I have to say as a self confessed make up novice, I always find it helpful to have everything spelt out for me. The colours are not too dark that it would look out of place with my skin tone… Okay so I don’t actually know if a darker smoky eye look would look out of place on me, but when I picture it in my head it does.
As you can imagine it was a very busy day and I completely forgot to get a photo of the make up close up, but here is a picture of myself with the fellow bridesmaid and the star of the show herself, Mrs Danielle Stewart. After 7 years being engaged, it was so lovely to see her finally get married and be such a big part of her special day… And with the step by step guide I did not have to worry about my make up going wrong for the big day.
