Winter Jumper Wishlist

As we start the descent into the colder months our wardrobe choices have to change to adapt to the windy, wet and cold days ahead and if you’re anything like me that means a shopping trip and a complete wardrobe overhaul as I’m always more set for summer. I’m not normally a big layering or jumper fan but this year there’s so many lovely pieces out there so I’ve pulled together my current Winter Jumper Wishlist to share with you all.

Top photo [L-R] Rad To Do List, €29.90 l French Connection Reality Sucks, £45 from £90 l Rad Blah Blah Blah €34.90
Middle photo [L-R] Quiz Diamante Heart Batwing £29.99 l Quiz Light Knit Crochet Diamante Detail £34.99 l Boohoo Petite Lace Up Rib Knit £20
Bottom photo [L-R] Quiz V Neck Side Split Glitter £20 l French Connection Mozart Colour Block £49 from £70 l French Connection Soft Cowl Neck £58 from £85

As I’m not a big winter fan I don’t have a favourite type of jumper nor do steer towards a particular style when it comes to choosing winter wear. I can either of two ways, the first being oh that’s pretty but after wearing it twice I realise it does not suit me and it goes to rest in peace at the back of my wardrobe, or I fall completely in love with it and move into it until it starts to fall apart or someone asks if I own any other clothes.

I’m a big fan of slogans on clothing, I have tops and dresses with quotes or slogans on them and I even have gym leggings with writing on them. On Rad and LoveTheSales they have a number of slogan jumpers and I fell in love with the three in my first photo, I mean who doesn’t agree that reality sucks half the time and who doesn’t want to swim with mermaids. My favourite of the three is the Blah Blah Blah top because I usually have resting bitch face and this is the perfect accompaniment to wear with said face.

Anyone who knows me well knows that a good 80% of my wardrobe is from Boohoo and I actually have the dress version of the Lace Up Rib Knit Jumper, but if I have the money I also like to invest in a few higher end pieces. On LoveTheSales I found the two French Connection jumpers in the final photo and I love them both, not only because they are on sale but because they have a slight uniqueness, they aren’t just the run of the meal jumper you see every day. I’m also really loving navy and maroon shades right now, not that you would know it from my above selections, I have gone for a lot of classic black which would fit in perfectly in my wardrobe.

What’s your favourite jumper from my selection, and where do you like to shop for winter wear?

I really like the long floaty ones. There is something extra cosy about them when they fall off your shoulders or flutter in the breeze!

As burgundy is one of my favourite colours I really love the burgundy slogan jumper. You could even team it with a mini skirt and some boots for a cool off duty look x

“I fall completely in love with it and move into it until it starts to fall apart” – I do this all the time! Once I’ve found a jumper I like I’m like a kid and their wellies 😀
