Summer’s Too Short Not To Stand Out

Life’s too short to not sparkle. No matter how many people there are in this world, or how many will arrive, you are the only you there is, and that is something you need to celebrate. You need to take a deep breath and stand out from the crowd, something that gets a little dollop harder come summer time.

Luckily, I have the secret: accessories. It’s adorning your gorgeous sun-kissed body with a few subtle and some not-so-subtle tidbits that will have you feeling full of confidence and people thinking of you as a fashionista. Not someone that has just been online, clicked on the top-sellers tab and bought what everyone else has bought, but a true trendsetter able to find the unique pieces that will dazzle.

  1. Find The Perfect Foot Chain

I love ankle bracelets, they are so delicate and lovely and perfect, but I’m also aware that they’ve had their moment, which is exactly why you need to get your hands (or feet) on a foot chain. The simple clasp makes it very similar to a bracelet, but what makes this piece of body jewelry standout is the way it follows your foot and wraps around your toe. These are perfect for festivals, beaches, everything.

  1. Statement Rings Are In

Once upon a time, pulling on a ring was all about finding that one that would make the biggest statement. That one that felt right for the occasion. But this summer, the best way to stand out from the crowd is with stacked rings. It’s less about which ring to wear and more about rocking multiple rings, stacking them on each finger to make your fingers twinkling in the sunlight.

  1. Heavenly Headpiece

My absolutely favourite piece of standout summer style is the headpiece, but perhaps that’s because I’m the sort of girl that would rather have flowers in her hair than a diamond around her neck. But it’s not just a bit of extra glitz and glam, it’s a gorgeous solution to the dreaded bad hair day (that we can all relate too). You can go for a classic Riviera-style headband, a golden bit of wow or just a flower headband. They’ll all give you that extra pinch of heavenly perfection.

  1. Suit Your Sunnies

Nothing says summer more than a cute pair of sunglasses, especially if you pick a pair that flatters your face-shape. Wearing a pair of cute sunnies just has a way of giving me more confidence and a sunnier disposition. That said, I would recommend you learn everything you need to know about polarised lenses if you are heading to the beach or hoping to tiptoe onto a yacht because they will make a world of difference.

  1. Summer Is For Hats

Whether you are having a bad hair day, a great hair day or looking to rock that tousled-look, hats are the absolute cutest. They give you that extra edge and sense of style. But, best of all, there are so many different styles out there, meaning you will be able to pick one the shape and style that fits your own unique style.

I always forget to max out my accessories when I go out. I have my staple sunglasses which make a huge difference though so I always take them.
