An Instagram Month
I got a new phone case from Photobox, I always have a photographic case and I update it every 6 to 12 months I would say as I find new photos that I like or have the awkward moment where I don’t actually speak to someone on it anymore. I attended Gary Cockerill’s book launch for Simply Glamorous, his new beauty bible demonstrating how make up can make any woman feel confident, with tutorials, hints and tips, and models that are both famous faces, family members and even some of us non celebrities.
It was my Mum’s birthday and we went for dinner at Chapter One where I had a starter of Wood Pigeon and a main course of steak, and my sister had a risotto to start, followed by lemon sole and finished off with strawberry macaroons. The day after my Mum’s birthday is one of my best friends birthdays, September is quite the full month of birthdays for me.
I won a prize from BonPrix at the Bloggers Festival, hosted by the lovely Scarlett London. I went to a very messy pre drinks session at Claire’s before a work leaving do, we were so drunk before we even left that we performed Meghan Trainor’s Walkashame, oh how I miss Corky’s Strawberry & Creams milkshakes.
I went to Manchester for a weekend for Amy’s birthday with my Pudding and two of my girls, it was quite eventful when one of the girls closed a car door on Amy’s head in the cab home, accidentally of course, and I found a little bit of love for Crystal Palace Football club.
I got new blog cards, again fuelling my love once again for photographic items. I went for Sunday lunch with the family, this time to the local Cypriot restaurant Cyprianis. I had a starter of Scallops wrapped in Prosciutto, a main starter of a lamb roast, and finished off with Apple & Banana Crumble.
