Is anyone else sat around scratching their head at the fact that it’s April already and this year is flying by with a quarter of it already gone. The fact it is April already though does mean that we are halfway to my birthday month of August and closer to my Disney Fancy Dress 30th Party. Now I don’t want to go wishing the year away so I thought I’d take a step back and look at what I got up to in the first few months of 2018.

So we’re only on the 2nd page of this year’s blank 365 page book but I could not be more excited for the year ahead. Despite having a hard year in 2017 I managed to end the year on a high and came out of it feeling stronger, more hopeful for the future and proud of the struggles I had overcome. I’m ready for all the adventures this year has waiting for me, including celebrating my 30th birthday in August and a number of plans already in my diary. I literally have at one thing already planned for 10 months of this year so I thought I’d share with you all what I’m up to this year, which starts straight away with a very busy first weekend of January.Read more »

After a rather rough year I was more than ready to see the back of 2017 but rather than dwell on the hardships and struggles of the year I’ve decided to looked back over the year and pick out some of the better memories and leave the year with those in the forefront of my mind. It’s so easy getting lost in day to day life and remember the struggles and hardship but if you take a step back and purposely reflect you find that it’s not all as bad as you remember.Read more »

No matter how strong someone can seem everyone has a breaking point and this year I hit mine for a multitude of reasons. I’m always the one telling people it helps to talk yet I’m also the first to clam and refuse to open up about everything I’m dealing with. I try to handle everything alone and don’t want to look weak but this time everything came to a head, it was too much and I completely and utterly broke down.Read more »
